Convey a Strong Commitment to Service!

The President’s Honor Roll seeks to recognize institutions that demonstrate a strong commitment to service. In your Institutional Commitment to Service Statement it is important to provide the background and context of the commitment.  The statement should illustrate varied examples of how the commitment is demonstrated on campus and exemplified in campus-community partnerships.

Strong statements MUST include explanations of:

• The commitment of institutional resources
• How that commitment is implemented in the campus culture, academic programming and extracurricular activities
• The impact and effect of this commitment to service in the community

Honor Roll Application Q&A

We frequently receive questions from applicants. Here are answers to two of the questions that have come up during the past week.

The application makes reference to the guidelines. Can you tell me where to find them?

The guidance document is available on the resource page of the Honor Roll website.
 
I noticed that I am limited to the number of characters I can use when completing the application. Do the character limits include spaces?

Yes, spaces are included in the character count.

Do you have a question?

Have you been completing the application, but find that you have a specific question you’d like to ask?

Join us at 4 p.m. EST on Tuesday, November 29^th for a Q&A conference call to have your questions answered.
Register now and ask your question in advance.  The call will take place immediately following the webinar.
