Opportunity Description: The Lenoir City Boys & Girls Club is partnering with Caris Healthcare for a on going youth-led service learning project beginning on MLK Day. Youth from our club will be making cards and crafts for hospice patients. These items will be used to brighten the days of the patients and their families as well as provide a fun and creative outlet for all of our members. Youth are working closely with club staff to determine the types of activities they would like to see implemented in this project. Approximately 65 youth will participate in this project. The project will run from January 16 2009 until December of 2009.
